Boston – Building upon the strong re-launch of the 455 for spring 2009 comes the fall 2009 update of the 455. Re-introduced for the first time in more than 30 years, the 455 is an original 1979 trail shoe that has been updated with modern materials and sophisticated colour blocking.

Designed and manufactured in New Balance’s factory in Flimby, England, the 455 has a three-layer lugged outsole capable of dispersing shock and offering excellent traction- a lot of bells and whistles that stem from the fact that this was an actual award-winning trail shoe more than 30 years ago. The 455 was the trail shoe of its day and today remains a classic.

The 455 features unique perforated meshs, premium suedes and leather detailing for fall 2009 and is available for both men and women in five colourways.

The New Balance 455 collection will be available worldwide begin in July 2009 and will retail between 85.00€ and 100.00€.

These two colourways and the exclusive materials are both made up by the DDC LAB, located in New York. They are well known for mixing up existent New Balnce styles with extra ordinary materials, which are not common in the sneaker business.
