It all began with spring-cleaning session. When shoesenkel founders Marc Philipp Weber and Kornel Kasielski whipped their apartment into shape, the shoe cabinet was the only thing that stood out in the sparkling clean and stylish apartment. The culprit was quickly identifed: The shoe laces, primarily kept in black or white, did not offer a satisfactory opportunity for expression to enhance their lovely compiled shoe collection. Our efforts to find quality shoe laces, which also offered the essential individuality, was without success. Thus the idea was born to establish our own shoelace company.

Shoesenkel was born in 2008. Shoesenkel are available in more than 15 colors, patterns and lengths. Our collection consists of the patterns: Classic Edition and Sneaker Edition. The former offers smoothly waxed shoe-lace, rounded or flat, perfect for the classic leather footwear or the fashionable lace-up shoe. The pure and flat Sneaker Edition shoe-lace is preferable for the trainer / sneaker style shoe.

All our shoesenkel products are manufactured, hand-wrapped and packaged in Germany from 100% cotton fibre.
