According to their SMU Release on 09/01/2010 Overkill did a cooperation with the Berlin Art Project “Write the Wall”. Therefor berlin graffiti artists BOA, HOCUS & DURO256 painted a 20m long piece of the original berlin wall that was especaially rebuild for this art show.
As some people might remember the former berlin wall was completely painted during the cold war. At that time lots of artist expressed theire feelings and wishes to end this war on one of the biggest canvases ever seen. (weiterlesen…)

Overkill from Berlin and New Balance will launch the “Berlin Wall Pack” on 9th of January 2010. The Pack includes 3 colourways and as you see below they changed a lot to the pictures of the first proto type. All three shoes have a Woven Label which shows a creative interpretation of the Berlin Wall. Also the inserts have some nice printings with 3 different motives. New Balance teamed up with RC toy car makers Tamiya on a new special collaboration. Based off Tamiya’s popular Dash-1 Emperor car design, Tamiya designed a colourfull new version of the 574 featuring rich leather uppers with star eyelets and the #49 stiched on the tongue. The sneakers also come with its own Dash-1 Emperor available in two colorways (each limited to 248 units) and a messenger bag which looks to be produced by Porter, who made the last series of bags for Tamiya. The kicks are now available through select retailers.
