New Balance Moustache Club opens up its doors to anyone who embraces the moustache way of life

Gerade heute ist der Moustache wieder in und über aller Munde. Ob Brad Pitt, Jack Black, Luke Wilson oder Colin Farrell: Viele Celebrities stylen von nun an nicht nur ihr Haupthaar, sondern auch ihren Moustache.

The beardie lifestyle is definitely back! Brad Pitt, Jack Black, Luke Wilson and Colin Farrell already groom a tricky moustache. And there are many more -- even not celebrities -- who do too. Why? Because the new trend is about classic heritage meeting modern fashion.

Seit einigen Jahren schon vergibt New Balance Lifestyle den internen „Moustache Award” für die kreativsten, schönsten und lustigsten Bärte. New Balance Lifestyle in Deutschland findet die Idee so gut, dass sie nun jedem die Möglichkeit geben möchten, an diesem Wettbewerb teilzunehmen. Dazu wurde der „NB Moustache Club” ins Leben gerufen: der erste offizielle Treffpunkt für alle, die den bärtigen Lifestyle leben und lieben! Den Vorsitz des Clubs hat Mr. William Moustache -- ein Charakter, der natürlich durch eine ganze Barber-Crew unterstützt wird.

It’ s been many years ever since the first „New Balance Moustache Award” was given to the employee who performed the most beautiful, creative or funniest moustache. We of New Balance Germany have come to find the award and the lifestyle behind it so cool, that we decided to launch the German New Balance Moustache Club -- an official meeting point for all those who cultivate and love the beardie lifestyle. Chairman of the club will be Mr. Moustache, assisted by his barber crew. The official website is: www.nb-moustacheclub.com.

New Balance lädt Händler, Fans, Freunde, Bekannte und andere Fashion-Brands in ihren neuen „Moustache Club” ein. Die offizielle Fanpage im Teakholz-Look findet sich unter www.nb-moustacheclub.com. Hier kann jeder teilnehmen! Einfach ein Bild von sich und eventuell dem eigens gegründeten Team an lifestyle@newbalance.de schicken, einen Namen oder Teamnamen beifügen und los geht´s.

Therefore we invite all fans and friends, retailers as well as other fashion brands to take part to the club. Anyone can apply, even girls! Simply take a picture of your mustache and yourself, send it including your name to lifestyle@newbalance.de. If you wish you can set up a team with your friends, just don’t forget to add the teams and members names in the email.

Im April wird dann der „NB Moustache Award 2010″ in zwei Kategorien vergeben. Zum einen können New-Balance-Händler eine „NB Moustache”-Party im Wert von 1.000 Euro gewinnen, zum anderen gibt es viele attraktive Preise für die Teams: von der Nintendo Wii über Camcorder bis hin zu exklusiven G-Shock-Uhren! Entscheidend für den Gewinn des Awards ist die Anzahl der Votes für die jeweiligen Teambildern, die auch auf der Seite angezeigt werden. Das Team mit den meisten Votes gewinnt den Award 2010. Begleitet wird die Aktion von vielen schönen Give-Aways, wie „Mr. Moustache”-T-Shirts, „Official Member”-Buttons, sowie Ketten mit Kammanhängern -- falls der Moustache im Club mal nicht korrekt sitzt.

All members and teams that join the club will automatically participate to the NB Moustache Award 2010, which will be given in April.  All moustache-pictures will undergo an official voting. The person or team with the most votes wins the award. To get votes, copy and paste the link to your pictures and share it with your friends. Each vote counts! There will be two award categories: Professionals (retailers) and not (fans & friends). Professionals can win a NB Moustache Party amounting to 1.000 Euros, not professionals can win amongst a wide range of prizes -- from Nintendo Wiis over Flip Cams to exclusive G-Shock watches. But this is not it!  There’s going to be an “official member button” for each member, as well as many other cool gadgets like T-shirts or mini-combs for your personal groom.
