As you probably know New Balance produces their shoes in England. We are very proud to tell that story to our customers and consumers. Of course we like the idea of supporting the domestic manufacturing. Last week, when we were in Berlin for the Bread and Butter Tradeshow, we have met Joko Winterscheidt from MTV Germany, and he told us a pretty impressive story about his own fashion label – GERMAN GARMENT. Joko and his friends also produce their collection in Europe, they are even “Made in Germany” ! Of course we like the idea of supporting national production facilities. As GERMAN GARMENT shows us, it´s not necessarily to chose Far East Production to offer good quality products to a good price point.
