Sneakerness is the most comprehensive sneaker event in Europe. It’s an international stage for sneaker-culture, fans and sneaker addicts. This time the sneakerness takes place in Austria for the first time. This event is all about sneakers: You can interchange, sell or buy some shoes at one of the stands of the top sneaker stores of Austria. Curiosities, collaborations, exhibitions, exclusive models, lacing schools, art workshops and a lot more specials are going to be presented at this day.

A big special is also arranged: Bobbito Garcia aka Bob Kool Love from New York will also appear at the sneakerness in Austria. New Balance is going to there, too. Connected with the Stil-Laden from Vienna, New Balance is going to deliver insight into their products and the brand.

Style and comfort – two words New Balance committed itself to: On one hand we do constantly aim to develop sneakers that enthuse and convince with its looks. And on the other hand, is the comfort of feet – thanks to the newest NB technologies – certainly not less important to us. With that said, it won’t seem strange why we decided to cooperate with one of the leading beauty care lines of Germany and decided support its latest project called bebe generation WG.

The bebe Young care commercial always played out in an apartment shared by four students. Bebe Young care made this apartment become now real: 16 girls total moved into four different apartments where they will live together for an entire month. Each apartment has its own motto: “lifestyle” (Hamburg), “fashion” (Berlin), “music” (Cologne), and “active” (Munich). The different teams have four weeks to prove themselves as either designers, musicians, stylists or lifestylers.

To make that possible, real professionals of the different genres will visit the girls and support them in the different tasks they will be faced through out their stay. No doubt that New Balance decided to stop by as well. On Thursday, the 13th of August, Till Jagla, New Balance Lifestyle Manager Germany, will help the Munich-Girls to create a true limited New Balance sneaker. We’re dying to see the result!

Style und Komfort – zwei Worte, derer New Balance sich verpflichtet hat. Einerseits ist man stets bemüht, dass alle Sneaker durch ihre Optik überzeugen und begeistern. Andererseits ist der Komfort der Füße mittels neuester Technologie genau so wichtig. Und da liegt es dann gar nicht mal so fern, New Balance und Beautycare zusammenzubringen. So kam es dann, dass New Balance das aktuelle Projekt der Produktlinie bebe Young Care unterstützt.

Nach dem Vorbild des bebe Young Care-Werbespots zogen je vier Mädels in eine der vier „bebe Generation Wgs“ in vier deutschen Großstädten für jeweils vier Wochen. Dabei hat jede WG ein eigenes Motto: „Lifestyle“ (Hamburg), „Fashion“ (Berlin), „Music“ (Köln) und „Active“ (München). Die verschiedenen Teams haben dann vier Wochen Zeit selber als Designer, Musiker, Stylist oder Lifestyler zu agieren und Trends zu setzen. New Balance hat da nicht lange gezögert und die WGs schon mal mit den neusten New Balance Sneakers ausgestattet.

Darüber hinaus sollen Profis des jeweiligen Genres den Mädchen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen, inklusive der gesamten Online-Community. Ist doch klar, dass auch New Balance sein Fachwissen weitergibt. So wird am 13.08.2009 Till Jagla, New Balance Lifestyle Manager Deutschland, den Mädels in der Münchner WG einen Besuch abstatten und gemeinsam einen limitierten Schuh kreieren. Man darf schon mal auf das Ergebnis gespannt sein!

Am 02.07.09 fand der 3. Solemart im Hotel Ellington in Berlin statt. Neben den Veranstaltern vom Solebox-Store waren private Anbieter oder Sammler vertreten, die ihre Sneaker zum Verkauf anboten. New Balance hatte einen Infostand aufgebaut und verzückte die Gäste mit vielen kleinen Geschenken, die verteilt wurden. Auch bei der Verlosung sparte New Balance nicht mit Gewinnen. Mehrere Paar Schuhe und 3 Trollies waren extra für die Verlosung bereitgestellt worden. Die Gäste hatten Spaß, auch wenn insgesamt der große Ansturm ausblieb.

Sneakerheads from around the world are awaited, because there will be some rare kicks offered, for sure. Of course there will be a tombola, supported by New Balance with a lot of presents – so there’s something to win. For those of you who had never visited the solemart I just can give you the advise and those of you who are no sneakerheads – you maybe will be one after the solemart.

It starts at 6 o’clock pm at hotel Ellington in berlin.

Anläßlich der Bread & Butter, die zur Zeit in Berlin stattfindet, lädt heute Sneaker-Spezialist Solebox zum 3. Solemart ein. Dieser Solemart ist eine Sneakerbörse, bei der jeder eingeladen ist, seine Schuhe zu verkaufen oder zu tauschen. Auch die Veranstalter verkaufen dort Sneaker aus ihrer eigenen Sammlung.

Sneakerheads aus der ganzen Welt werden erwartet, denn es werden mit Sicherheit einige seltene Stücke dort angeboten. Natürlich findet auch wieder eine Verlosung statt, die New Balance mit vielen Präsenten unterstützt, es gibt also einiges zu gewinnen.  Wer den Solemart noch nicht besucht hat, dem kann man dieses Event nur wärmstens empfehlen und wer noch kein Sneaker-Liebhaber ist, der wird auf dem Solemart bestimmt einer werden.
