Presentation of the 1400

Boston – Designed by New Balance’s Creative Directors, Savania Davies-Keiller and Roberto Crivello, the 1400 is introduced for fall 2009 in a nearly all-over reflective upper.

The 1400 originally launched in 1994 and quickly became known for its comfort and basic, versatile design – making it a popular choice among runners, as well as those interested in everyday casual wear. Today, the 1400 has been reintroduced with modern material and design applications.

Featuring Abzorb cushioning in the heel and Encap midsole for comfort, durability and resistance to compression, the 1400 features a solid rubber, non-marking outsole that provides an additional layer of comfort. The silhouette features an upper that is almost entirely reflective with luxury leather detailing and a pigskin lining.

Featuring teal blue accents on seal grey, the 1400 silhouette is available beginning in September. The 1400 will retail for 120.00€ and is the first of three colourways due to launch in 2009. The remaining two colourways will be introduced in October.

These two colourways and the exclusive materials are both made up by the DDC LAB, located in New York. They are well known for mixing up existent New Balnce styles with extra ordinary materials, which are not common in the sneaker business.

NB 850 Fall/Winter

These two new colourways of the NB 850 are part of the new fall/winter collection. However the colourway of these two shoes is fresh and summerlike. In addition the shoes convince by their material mix of suede, leather and mesh. The NB 850 are now available in selected stores likeColette in paris. These two colourways are defenitly a pendant to the sad, grey and rainy weather in germany.

Diese zwei neuen Colourways des NB 850 sind Teil der Herbst/Winter Kollektion. Der Farbmix beider Schuhe ist jedoch fresh und sommerlich. Zusätzlich überzeugt der Schuh durch den Materialien-Mix aus Suede, Leder und Mesh. Die NB 850 sind ab sofort erhältlich bei ausgesuchten New Balance Händlern wie z.B.Colette in Paris. Für diesen Herbst/Winter sind die beiden Colourways auf jeden Fall ein Pendent zum traurig-grauen Wetter in Deutschland!
